Job summary

CEC in Cheyenne, WY is seeking a Material Handler to support the safe, efficient movement of materials and tools on construction sites. This safety-sensitive role requires strong planning, problem-solving, and adherence to 5S and site safety standards, with potential for overtime.

You will assist in cycle counts, load/unload, drive qualified company vehicles, and process paperwork while maintaining tools and yard cleanliness.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math, reading, writing skills.
• Must be able to work occasional overtime as required.
• Experience on construction job sites is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Drive company vehicles as qualified and required.
• Prepare order requests for job sites and assist with loading/unloading trucks.
• Sort cargo during loading or unloading and label containers.
• Stock/pick, log, and maintain tools.
• Process paperwork (packing slips, tool transfers).
• Track maintenance/repair of site vehicles and report needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and 5S principles within the yard.
• Take direction from Site Logistics leadership to perform tasks with impact.
• Communicate professionally with management, coworkers, and customers.
• Perform other duties to ensure efficient operations.
