Job summary

CEC is seeking a Material Handler in Cheyenne, Wyoming to support construction projects by moving tools and materials around job sites and facilities. The role includes deliveries, inventory control, and maintaining safe, organized work areas.

The position requires the ability to lift up to 51 pounds, operate forklifts and vehicles as needed, and work overtime including nights and weekends. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Construction experience is a plus but not required.
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift and DOT certifications (or willingness to get certified).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up materials as needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Keep track of inventory and help with regular counts.
• Organize and clean tools, materials, and the warehouse.
• Drive company vehicles when required.
• Maintain paperwork like logs and transfer forms.
• Help keep shop vehicles in good condition.
• Support building and fleet maintenance when needed.
• Follow safety rules and keep your workspace clean and organized.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department.
