Job summary

OPmobility is seeking a SITE MANUFACTURING MANUAL PAINT SPRAYER in Duncan, SC on 2nd shift (3pm – 11pm). The role focuses on manual spray tasks, equipment upkeep, and a strong emphasis on safety and quality within a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on spray experience, ability to operate paint equipment, and good problem-solving and communication skills. This position offers long-term at-will employment and opportunities to contribute to continuous improvement

Qualifications

• Must have manual spraying experience and a clear understanding of paint equipment operation.
• Able to operate PPE relevant to paint application.
• Must pass medical evaluation for respirator use.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Identify and manually spray required areas on parts.
• Inspect parts and identify defects in the application area.
• Clean and maintain application equipment (Spray guns, brushes, hoses).
• Maintain area 5S standard.
• Identify possible equipment and processes for continuous improvement.
• Prepare parts for proper application of repair process.
• Maintain inventory for supplies and collaborate with Lab Team to order supplies.
• Actively participate in Process Improvements and QRQC containments and corrective actions.
• Follow OPmobility procedures and SWIs.
• Work schedule based on production requirements and overtime as requested.
• Complete any other duties assigned by supervisor.
