Job summary

OP Mobility in Normal, Illinois is seeking a Site Manufacturing Maintenance Technician to enhance equipment performance and maintain optimal maintenance processes. The ideal candidate will possess a technical certification and experience with electrical systems, PLCs, and automated equipment.

SITE MANUFACTURING MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN -
Main Missions

To increase Overall Equipment Effectiveness by properly maintaining and improving equipment and maintenance processes in various areas of the facility.

Responsibilities
  • Follow all safety rules and work in a manner that is conducive to maintaining a safe and healthful workplace.
  • Keep a neat, clean, and organized work area.
  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures as scheduled.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and building systems.
  • Determine root causes of equipment failures and implement permanent solutions.
  • Assist and train other internal and contracted maintenance technicians.
  • Assist contactors with repairs, revisions, construction, and new equipment setup.
  • Use internal system to record all work performed on a daily basis.
Desired Profile
  • Ability to use multimeter for troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical systems up to 480VAC.
  • Working knowledge of PLCs and automated systems Basic PC skills.
  • Read electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and control prints and schematics and use them to troubleshoot circuits.
  • Troubleshoot and repair automated equipment efficiently and effectively.
  • Technical certification with specialty experience in any of the following: mechanical, hydraulics, pneumatics, robotics, etc.
