Job summary

Premier Warehousing Services, Inc. in New Columbia, PA is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily shuttle and warehouse operations, ensuring safety and efficiency.

You will hire, train, and supervise staff, coordinate trucking activities, and enforce company policies while meeting performance metrics and customer needs. Experience with backing up and maneuvering trailers, tarping and strapping, and data entry is preferred.

Qualifications

• Flexible schedule with start and end times; some weekends may be required.
• Ability to train, coach, and lead employees positively.
• Strong Organization and prioritizing skills.
• Ability to multi-task.
• Ability to make sound decisions, problem solve, and direct employees in a fast paced environment.
• Trucking Experience is preferred.
• Experience in supervision of employees including hiring, training, and termination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily management of shuttle drivers and warehouse crew.
• Operate the jockey-spotter and shuttle trucks; back into loading bays and manage off-site yard movements.
• Maintenance and service of trucks with local vendors.
• Ensure plant efficiency and safety are prioritized.
• Interview, hire and train all new associates.
• Conduct safety meetings and ensure compliance with all staff.
• Ensure company policies and procedures are followed daily.
• Meet customer needs and meet company metric goals.
