Job summary

RIEDEL Communications is seeking a Site Manager to oversee daily operations for international live events in the Managed Technology division. You will lead an interdisciplinary team, manage logistics, and ensure safety and quality standards across projects.

This role requires budgeting, on-site coordination, and frequent travel. A Bachelor’s in a relevant field is preferred but not required; strong English communication and a hands-on leadership mindset are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of site, project, or operations management experience, ideally in live events, broadcasting, or AV production.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required.
• Proven leadership and people management skills.
• Hands-on mindset and passion for end-to-end project execution.
• Experience budgeting and managing resources.
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• You oversee daily site operations and ensure compliance with all safety and company standards.
• You lead and motivate an interdisciplinary team.
• You plan and manage event logistics, schedules, and staffing to ensure seamless execution.
• You approve and monitor project plans, budgets, and deliverables.
• You maintain RIEDEL’s technical inventory and coordinate project readiness.
• You review contracts, manage on-site communication, and provide bi-weekly progress reports.
• You act as the primary liaison between local teams, management, and clients.
• You identify risks, troubleshoot issues, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

THAT'S YOU

• 5+ years of site, project, or operations management experience, ideally in live events, broadcasting, or AV production
• Strong technical background in intercom, radio, audio, and IT systems
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field preferred but not required
• Proven leadership and people management skills
• Hands-on mindset and passion for end-to-end project execution
• Experience in budgeting and resource management
• Excellent English communication skills, spoken and written
• Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends
• Valid driver’s license
