Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. in Houston seeks a Site Manager to oversee all aspects of the site operations, including safety, staffing, and customer service, in collaboration with Sales and Supply Chain teams.

You will lead a local team, drive safety and compliance performance, manage packaged gas and welding products sales, cylinder production and distribution, and ensure policy adherence and efficient operations, in a fast-paced industrial environment, reporting to the regional operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 5–10 years in site/branch operations or industrial gas.
  • Strong safety and compliance knowledge (OSHA, DOT, EPA).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the local team to manage safety, compliance, packaging gas sales, welding products, and distribution.
  • Oversee cylinder production and distribution; coordinate with Sales and Supply Chain.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and standards.
  • Perform duties as assigned.

Job description

JOB TITLE – Site Manager salary range $80,000 to $100,000
Responsible for allaspects of the site (location, branch) operations; safety, staffing andcustomer service functions working in conjunction with the Sales and SupplyChain teams.

Essential Function
  • Leads the local teamto manage the safety/compliance performance, packaged gas sales, weldingproducts and hard goods sales, cylinder production and distribution.

  • - The employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanicalparts and fumes or airborne particles (e.g. in warehouse, at customer sites).
  • -The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management,Industrial Management or related field

Work Experience

Preferred 5 - 10 years related experience and/or training preferably insite/branch operations and/or package gas operations in the industrial gasindustry; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • - Ability toproficiently display computer software skills with programs such MicrosoftWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • - Hands on understanding of industrialgas products, production, and distribution applications, and associatedequipment.
  • - Working knowledge of Six Sigma and lean manufacturing practices.
  • - Training in Safety and Compliance (OSHA, DOT, EPA, and FDA)
Licenses and Certifications
  • Valid State Drivers License Required
  • Hazardous Materialstraining
