Job summary

First Resources Corp. seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead contract operations at Barstow and ensure full compliance with PWS, SOPs, and audit controls. You will supervise supervisors and functional managers, drive performance metrics, and maintain readiness for surge and on-call support.

You will coordinate with KO, COR, and Government leadership, manage staffing and training, and implement QCP and CSP while maintaining accurate reporting and issue resolution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in distribution management or 10+ years in large-scale distribution operations.
• 3+ years using automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within the last 5 years.
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in a high-tempo logistics environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Experience working in Government or DoD logistics environments preferred.

• Maintain operational readiness for surge, emergency requisitions, and on-call support.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, Item Managers, Inventory Control Points, and transportation partners.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead all contract operations supporting DLA Distribution Barstow. This position serves as the primary point of contact with the Government and is responsible for full operational oversight of receiving, warehousing, inventory, packaging, transportation, retail/ISA support, NAVSUP Level 1/ Sub-safe material handling, and audit sustainment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide full operational leadership for all contract functions at Nebo and Yermo.
• Serve as the central point of contact with the KO, COR, and Government leadership.
• Ensure compliance with all PWS requirements, SOPs, audit controls, and regulatory standards.
• Lead supervisors, leads, and functional managers to achieve performance metrics and Acceptable Performance Levels (APLs).
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, training, and workforce development.
• Implement and enforce Quality Control Plan (QCP) and Customer Service Plan (CSP).
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting, documentation, and issue resolution.
• Drive continuous improvement, risk mitigation, and internal control adherence.
• Maintain operational readiness for surge, emergency requisitions, and on‑call support.
• Coordinate with Government stakeholders, Item Managers, Inventory Control Points, and transportation partners.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of Distribution Management experience, OR 10+ years of management experience in large‑scale distribution operations of similar size and complexity.
• 3+ years of experience using automated Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) within the last 5 years (DSS/WMS preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to lead large teams in a high‑tempo logistics environment.
• Strong communication, leadership, and decision‑making skills.
• Experience working in Government or DoD logistics environments preferred.

Ability to obtain CAC and meet all security requirements.

All Contractor personnel performing work under this contract must complete a favorable background investigation and be eligible to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Common Access Card (CAC).

Salary: $120000 - $150000 per year
