Job summary

New Ways Services—the ABI division of MHA—seeks a Site Manager to oversee daily operations at our care site. The role focuses on safe, effective service delivery, staffing, medication management, and collaboration with the Program Coordinator to support participants and staff.

Candidates should have at least six months of relevant experience, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a valid driver’s license. The position offers 40 hours per week with a pay rate of $21.50–$22.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Ability to pass a background and CORI check.
• Comfortable providing personal care to participants.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least six months of relevant experience; experience with brain injuries/mental health/developmental disabilities preferred.
• Strong commitment to creating a safe, supportive environment for participants.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff schedules and maintain staffing ratios.
• Oversee medication management: counts, ordering, documentation, and verification.
• Manage program finances, including petty cash and check requests, under supervision.
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff.
• Document medications, participant goals, behavioral data, and incident reports.
• Schedule and support attendance for medical, therapy, and community appointments.
• Promote a safe and supportive environment by addressing safety concerns and reporting incidents.
• Communicate with the Program Coordinator and team; participate in meetings and training.

Position Summary

Site Manager oversees the daily operations of their assigned site, ensuring high standards of service delivery for all individuals receiving support. This role operates under the guidance of the Program Coordinator and is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and supportive environment.

Working Hours

Tuesday, Wednesday, & Friday 12pm-8pm; Thursday & Saturday 9am-5pm (40hrs)

Pay Rate: $21.50 - $22.50 an hour

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff schedules and maintain adequate staffing ratios to ensure smooth program operations
• Oversee medication management, including counts, ordering, documentation, and verification
• Manage program finances, including petty cash, money counts, and check requests, with oversight from the Program Coordinator
• Assist with hiring, onboarding, and training new staff members to support program growth
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of medications, participant goals, behavioral data, and incident reports
• Schedule and support participant attendance for medical, therapy, and community appointments
• Promote a safe and supportive environment by addressing safety concerns, reporting incidents, and modeling positive engagement with participants
• Communicate effectively with the Program Coordinator and team, participate in meetings and training, and collaborate to achieve program goals

Requirements

• Valid driver's license, reliable vehicle, and sufficient automobile insurance, with a safe driving record
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Ability to pass a background and CORI check
• Comfortable providing personal care to participants, including assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent (GED, etc.)
• At least six months of relevant experience; experience supporting individuals with brain injuries, mental health challenges, or developmental disabilities is highly desirable
• Strong commitment to creating a safe, supportive, and empowering environment for participants
