Job summary

Fawkes and Reece are seeking a Site Manager to join a Halifax-based project, refurbishing two wards within a live hospital environment. The initial scheme will run for about 1 year, with further projects across the Greater Manchester region.

You will report to a Contracts Manager and be responsible for programmes, on-site safety, quality control, client liaison, materials orders, and tenant satisfaction. SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required, with a stable career history.

• You must be able to demonstrate a stable and progressive career history on your CV.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Maintain health and safety standards and drive a positive H&S culture on site.
• Monitor the quality of work to the required standard.
• Liaise with the client to manage expectations and communications.
• Order materials and manage procurement in a timely fashion.
• Work closely with Tenant Liaison Officer to ensure tenant satisfaction.

The comapny are seeking a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis. Initially you will be working on a scheme in Halifax, which is the internal refurbishment of two wards within a live hospital environment. This will run for approximately 1 year and further projects will be across the Greater Manchester region.

You will be reporting into a Contracts Manager and your responsibilities will include:

• The smooth operational, ensuring the programme of works is completed within correct timescales and budget.
• Ensuring health & safety is maintained and creating a positive attitude towards H&S throughout the team.
• Monitoring the quality of work
• Liaising with the client
• Ordering materials
• Working closely with the Tenant Liaison Officer and ensuring tenant satisfaction is maintained

Experience needed:

SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid are required tickets

The salary on offer is £45-50k (depending on experience) plus 5k car allowance and other benefits
