Job summary

Metlen Energy & Metals is seeking a Site Manager for the M Renewables team in Italy to support the construction of utility-scale solar projects. You will study SOWs, manage procurement, and supervise subcontractors, ensuring safety and adherence to standards.

The role requires 5+ years in site management, a relevant degree is a plus, and strong leadership with English and Italian fluency. Competitive salary and CCNL Metalmeccanico CNA Level/B3 framework apply.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of site manager experience within construction.
University degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus.
Excellent use of Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
Fluent Italian and English.

Responsibilities

Studies project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material PO and subcontract requisitions.
Reports project progress to the Project Manager.
Oversees subcontractors' installation works with site engineers.
Reports daily about material received onsite.
Liaises with Procurement and Logistics to arrange material deliveries.
Monitors compliance with technical requirements and applicable norms.
Manages site facilities (offices, utilities, cleaning) and coordinates local suppliers.
Liaises with DL and CSE where necessary.
Assumes the role of Preposto (site supervisor under Italian HSE).

Job Description Site Manager 25/09/2026 Job Description:

We are currently looking for aSite Managerto join our M Renewables team in Italyfor the construction ofutility-scale solar projects.

Your role will encompass:

studies deeply project SOW including engineering drawings, BOM, material purchase orders and subcontract requisitions
reports project progress to the Project Manager
oversees, with the help of site engineers, subcontractors's installation works
reports daily about the material received onsite
liaise, in collaboration with Procurement and Logistics departments, with suppliers to arrange the material deliveries
monitors compliance with Melen Energy & Metals technical requirements and all the applicable norms and standards
manage the site facilities from a technical and administrative point of view. Rent offices, provide the necessary utilities (water, electricity, internet), organize cleaning activities stipulating contract with local suppliers
liaise with DL and CSE where necessary
you will formally assume the role of "Preposto" (site supervisor as per Italian HSE legislation)

What you bring to the role:

minimum 5 years working experience as site manager within construction
University Degree in Electrical/Mechanical or Civil Engineering is a plus
excellent use of Microsoft Office and AUTOCAD
leadership and negotiation skills
attention to details
willingness to relocate
fluent knowledge of Italian and English

Compensation & Contractual Framework
The starting gross annual salary (RAL) for this position is €48.200, based on objective and gender-neutral criteria.
Applicable CCNL: MetalmeccanicoCNA Level / Inquadramento: B3

The final compensation may reflect the candidate’s relevant experience and competencies, in line with the Company’s remuneration framework.
