Job summary

NewCold, Indianapolis-based, is seeking a Site Manager to lead a highly automated warehouse operation. You will drive service levels within budget, guide a supervisory team toward KPIs, and champion a safety-first culture on-site.

You will oversee policy-aligned operations, report locally, and identify improvement opportunities while controlling payroll and other expenditures.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of warehouse operations management experience (preferably automated warehousing or food industry expertise).
• Strong P&L, finance, operations, team management, site planning and stock control capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage the local warehouse team and provide a level of service satisfying customer requirements, at a level of cost agreed in the budget.
• Oversee a supervisory team that leads daily site activities, driving results that exceed key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Uphold the NewCold culture and ensure a strong Health & Safety mindset is embedded on-site.
• Direct the operational team in alignment with company policy, ensuring standards are understood and met.
• Complete local KPI templates and share information internally, engaging the local team to search for improvement opportunities.
• Monitor and control all expenditure with a focus on payroll costs, reacting quickly to variances.
• Structure communication on-site to include daily team briefs and shift handovers.
• Communicate process deviations, quality issues, and service deficiencies, or risks of failure in these areas.
• Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by the Management Team.

About the job
NewCold is seeking a Site General Manager to help supportour growth and the development. As the General Manager you will be responsiblefor managing all aspects of Warehouse Operations for a state-of-the-art highlyautomated cold-storage facility.
What you will be doing

Communicate with relevant parties any process deviations, quality issues, and service deficiencies, or risk of failure in these areas.
Complete agreed internal reporting and communication as required by the Management Team.
