Site Manager

Reports to: Store Manager

Location: 902 Technology Dr, BibliU Campus Store, Grayson, Kentucky 41143

Contract Type: Part-Time, Permanent

Working Hours: 32 hours per week

Position Overview

The site manager reports directly to the store manager, working closely to maintain appropriate inventory levels in textbooks, trade, and general merchandise.

Responsibilities

• Engage all customers to identify their needs and utilize product knowledge to offer solutions and meet their needs.
• Assist in driving all aspects of store level sales and profitability.
• Perform store opening and closing procedures in accordance with company policies.
• Perform various sales and register transactions including ringing purchases, processing cash and credit payments, and counting money.
• Assist with merchandising (stock, markdowns, and visuals) of products in the store, in adherence to established visual standards.
• Protect the security of cash, inventory, and other company assets according to policies and procedures.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment.

Qualifications and Requirements

• 1-2 years retail experience with a proven passion for extraordinary customer service and sales.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Ability to effectively maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, with repetitive bending, prolonged standing, twisting, stooping, squatting, and ascending/descending ladders to stock and merchandise stores.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.

Good to have

• Textbook experience preferred but not required.
