Job summary

CRH's Franklin, TN plant seeks a Site Manager to lead a production team in a fast-paced dry mix concrete facility. You will monitor daily key point measures, budgets, safety, production flow and material costs, and be accountable for bottom line results.

The role requires strong leadership, planning, and communication skills, with experience in P&L and manufacturing operations. Onsite at the Franklin plant, you will drive efficiency and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience
• Experience in planning, negotiating and organizational skills
• Prior P&L experience
• Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production activities, and supervise the production process
• Oversee maintenance of all equipment including preventative maintenance
• Manage inventory control, counts and audits
• Commitment to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping and environmental compliance
• Estimate production costs and ensure high quality standards and good customer service
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs
• Maximize use of transportation/logistics
• Collaborate with suppliers, sales, and customers to meet organization goals
• Ensure SOX compliance and financial return expectations
• Comply with environmental regulations
• Perform other duties as needed

Daily duties include monitoring daily key point measures, budgets, safety, production flow and material costs. In this role, the Site Manager will have responsibility and accountability for bottom line results.

Job Location

This is an onsite position located at our Franklin, TN plant.

Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for planning and scheduling production activities, and supervising the production process
• Oversees maintenance of all equipment including managing downtime and ability to maintain a preventative maintenance program
• Responsible for inventory control, counts and audits
• Strong commitment to health, safety, quality, productivity, housekeeping, maintenance and environmental compliance
• Estimating production costs, maintaining high quality standards and ensuring good customer service
• Monitor product standards and implement quality control programs
• Responsible for maximizing the use of transportation/logistics
• Working with different departments (e.g. suppliers, sales, customers) effectively to execute the policies and goals of the organization
• Ensure compliance with SOX rules and regulations
• Ensure the business meets expected financial returns
• Ensures compliance with all local and federal environmental regulations
• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent of ten years of progressive related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering is a plus
• Experience in planning, negotiating and organizational skills
• Prior P&L experience
• Strong leadership skills while maintaining a team atmosphere
• Solid computer skills and written/oral communication
