Job summary

Omega Foundation Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Site Manager to lead on-site construction activities across infrastructure, heavy civil, deep foundations, and underground utility projects.

You will supervise Superintendents, Foremen, and craft labor, ensuring safety, quality, and schedule adherence. Responsibilities include coordinating logistics, client communications, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with project specifications.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of construction experience, including 10+ years in a Superintendent or Leadership role, preferably in heavy civil.
  • Experience in heavy civil, deep foundations, industrial projects or equivalent.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee on-site construction activities for designated projects ensuring alignment with goals and schedules.
  • Manage material logistics, EPC coordination, and site management to enable seamless execution.
  • Lead client interactions, status reporting, and coordination with Project Managers, schedulers, and engineers.

Job Summary

We are seeking experienced, results-driven field leaders as Site Managers to manage and oversee daily construction operations involving infrastructure, heavy civil, deep foundations, and underground utility construction activities. You will lead a dedicated team of Superintendents, Foremen and craft labor, ensuring that all activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with project specifications and company standards.

Your expertise will be essential in organizing work methods, managing project timelines, controlling financial expenditures, and maintaining high-quality workmanship. You will also play a vital role in promoting adherence to designs and specifications, delegating responsibilities, and enhancing productivity on the job site. Your ability to build strong relationships with clients, engineers, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal project teams will foster a collaborative, solution-oriented work atmosphere that drives successful outcomes. Key Responsibilities
  • Project Execution
  • Oversee all on-site construction activities for designated projects, ensuring that they align with overall project goals and timeframes.
  • Manage material logistics, EPC coordination, and site management efforts for seamless project execution.
  • Collaborate effectively with EPC/Design-Build and logistics teams to enable flawless integration across various components of the project.
Construction Planning and Coordination
  • Formulate, review, and enforce detailed construction plans that meet operational objectives.
  • Organize and oversee outage schedules to ensure minimal impact on project timelines and deliverables.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities to ensure projects are transitioned successfully to operational status.
  • Uphold strict adherence to safety regulations and operational protocols to protect all site personnel.
  • Client Interaction
  • Act as the primary point of contact on-site for clients, providing timely updates on project progress, financials, timelines, and potential risks.
  • Proactively address client questions and concerns to facilitate ongoing trust and collaboration.
  • Provide regular, transparent project status reports to keep all stakeholders informed and engaged.
  • Engage closely with Project Managers, schedulers, project coordinators, and engineers to align field operations with strategic project goals.
  • Supervise and encourage general and logistics contractors in their scope of work executions.
  • Lead on-site meetings for construction management briefings to ensure everyone is aligned on objectives.
  • Communication and Reporting
  • Prepare comprehensive reports detailing project status, timelines, and risk assessments for stakeholders.
  • Ensure robust communication across all program areas, including clients and internal teams.
  • Equipment Management
  • Work with internal resources to ensure project equipment needs are met.
  • Uphold company standards for equipment maintenance & care.
  • Oversee and ensure any equipment repairs or damage is reported.
Required Qualifications
  • 20+ years of construction experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a Superintendent or Leadership role, preferably within the heavy civil industry.
  • Heavy Civil / Deep Foundations / Industrial Experience or demonstrate similar preferred
  • Must possess a proactive mindset; highly motivated, with demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of rapidly learning and understanding various processes related to Omega’s operational policies, procedures, and software applications.
  • Proficient in identifying and mitigating potential problems that may arise during the course of a project.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, communication, and interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, safety compliance, negotiations, planning, and contract administration.
  • Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative with a Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time, commitment to ethics and integrity.
  • Experience working with craft, foreman, equipment operators and Superintendents in the field, exhibiting strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for safety, with the ability to help us ensure that nobody gets hurt
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites
Preferred Qualifications
  • PMP, CCM (Certified Construction Manager), LEED AP, or OSHA 500 certification.
  • Previous experience in industrial, heavy civil, mechanical, or USACE projects preferred.
Position may require travel away from home.
