Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to drive a pickup and pull a trailer.
• Ability to reach, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and transport up to 50 lbs (some jobs up to 100 lbs).
• Team oriented and able to work under time constraints.
• Willingness to work up to 59 hours per week.
• Weekend work with alternating schedules.
• Able to work in a hog facility.
• Willingness to learn new skills as needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair feed systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair ventilation systems.
• Install and repair water systems.
• Install and repair building components.
• Inspect facilities and grounds for repairs and complete them.
• Perform routine inspections and service company-owned equipment.
• Follow all security and safety procedures.
• Interact with leads, farm employees, and supervisors.
• Identify and order parts needed for their work.
