Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Site Leader to drive budgetary, people development and operations objectives at the Fulfillment Center. You will lead a team of Operations and Area Managers, coach staff, and build leadership bench strength to meet performance goals.

Responsibilities include setting clear requirements, measuring performance, and sharing best practices across departments and shifts, while coordinating with HR, Finance, Safety, IT and other senior managers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience.
• 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment.
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques.
• Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination.

Additional responsibilities include managing and leading a team of Operations and Area Managers, coaching and mentoring the team to ensure performance objectives are met, building positive employee relations and building leadership bench strength within the Fulfillment Center.

Key job responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of equivalent experience
• 7+ years direct management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a manufacturing, production or distribution environment
• Prior experience with performance metrics, process improvement and Lean techniques
• Prior experience with the full staffing lifecycle, including interviewing, hiring, performance management, promotions and termination

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations
• Interest in long-term career development through assignments in multiple FCs across the nation
• Experience with a contingent workforce during peak seasons
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations or related field. MBA preferred

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
