OnTrac is hiring a Site Leader for our Nashville, TN facility. This onsite role leads day-to-day operations, drives efficiency, and shapes strategic processes to sustain a positive warehouse culture.

You will manage personnel, negotiations with partners, and implement scalable workflows. Ideal candidates have 5+ years of management experience, knowledge of last-mile or small parcel delivery, and comfort with MS Office for planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma is required.
• Bachelor's in Logistics or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of management experience; 2 years in a similar industry.
• 6 years of experience in the industry or related field, or equivalent mix of experience/education.
• Experience with last-mile delivery or small parcel operations is highly desired.
• Experience with an independent contractor model and strong negotiation skills is required.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower the team; strong organization and time-management skills using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Guide and direct facility management in development, production, promotion, and financial aspects of services.
• Direct, plan and budget preparation based on corporate goals.
• Regularly evaluate operations and report results to Regional Operations and General Managers.
• Coach and develop staff; manage performance and productivity for hourly and salaried roles.

This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified in the job posting.

Compensation:

The expected starting base pay range for this position is $79,800 – 99,750, with a full potential base salary range over a successful candidate’s tenure in the position of $99,750 – 119,700. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, and other job-related factors.

Employment Logistics:

As the Operations Manager at OnTrac, you will report to the General Manager. You will play a pivotal role in providing strategic leadership as well as overseeing and optimizing the day-to-day activities to ensure efficiency and productivity. Your primary responsibilities will revolve around managing personnel, implementing strategic processes, and sustaining a positive work culture within the warehouse.

The Must-Haves:

• GED/Diploma required, bachelor's degree in Logistics or related discipline preferred
• A minimum of 5 years’ management experience, 2 in a similar industry; or equivalent combination of both education and specific work experience
• 6 years' experience in industry or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
• Last-mile delivery or Small Parcel experience highly desired
• Experience with an independent contractor model; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to inspire a shared vision, empower and engage a team
• Strong organization and time-management skills utilizing MS Office Suite

Work Environment / Physical Requirements:

• You will regularly need to talk or listen.
• You will frequently need to stand, walk, sit, and use your hands to handle or feel.
• The physical activity associated with this position is considered high. You will regularly lift, push, pull and/or move items averaging 50 pounds and occasionally up to 75 pounds.

• Responsible for coaching, skills development, rewards and recognition, performance management and staff productivity for hourly and salaried positions
• Ensure adherence to all aspects of the contract and work with Vendors and Independent Contractors for accountability to the operating agreement
