As a Site Lead Security Installation Technician, you will play a pivotal role in leading crews and overseeing project/system installation efforts. Your contribution is vital to the success of each project, and you will report to a Project Manager (PM).

Roles and Responsibilities:
  1. Understand the scope of what you are required to do for the project
  2. Follow all required specifications for a job only deviating from them with written approval
  3. Understand and follow the delivery and close-out process
  4. Coordinating with General Contractors and other trades
  5. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of build sites, including leading the crew on specific construction tasks
  6. Coordinate with the Project Manager or Site Lead on all scheduling and equipment/material ordering and returns; ensure the site has the tools and materials needed for the work scheduled
  7. Tracking and reporting of project status to appropriate management for review and approval of milestones and schedules
  8. Responsible for taking deliveries of materials and supplies; ensures all tools and materials are maintained and safeguarded; keep track of all materials/tools in your possession and follow all check-in/out procedures
  9. Hold the job site safety meeting and record it and follow ALL safety guidelines
  10. Develop and maintain strong customer and stakeholder allegiance to projects via a clear understanding of the customer’s project requirements
  11. Respond promptly to all established customer requests technical problems and inquiries
  12. Programming of intrusion detection, access control, CCTV, VMS, and other integrated security systems
  13. Present yourself in a professional manner when on company time, both in your physical appearance and demeanor
  14. Willing to travel and work flexible shifts as needed

Requirements:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent and applicable training certification
  2. Industry Certifications (Lenel, Avigilon)
  3. 4 years of experience installing and programming low-voltage systems
  4. Have solid understanding of drawings & installation according to design
  5. Experience installing Security systems e.g., Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion Detection
  6. Must be able to read and interpret project drawings and specifications related to all construction trade
  7. Strong time management, organizational, and leadership skills
  8. Ability to maintain strict confidential standards
  9. Must be detail-oriented, independent, and a self-starter
  10. Effective verbal and written communication skills with a proven ability to communicate professionally
  11. Willingness and ability to become certified in the company or site-mandated certifications (i.e. - First Aid / CPR)
  12. Strong knowledge of PC applications (MS Office Suite)
  13. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  14. Provide your basic hand tools and understand the operation and safety of project-specific tools
  15. Ability to read, write, and speak English
  16. Must have a clean driving record, pass a background check, and have dependable transportation

Preferred:
  1. Previous experience working with federal government agencies
  2. Strong understanding of Communications Networks
  3. Basic Networking Principles
  4. System integration experience
  5. OSHA 30 Certification
  6. 5 years of specific experience as Lead Installation Technician responsible for running low voltage projects of at least $100,000.00 or more in a new construction environment.

Pay: $28.76 - $34.80
