MyCHN (Community Health Network) in Houston is seeking a Site Lead Medical Assistant to combine clinical expertise with team leadership, ensuring smooth daily operations and high-quality patient care across the site.

You will oversee clinical staff, coach team members, perform CLIA waived testing, document in the EHR, and coordinate imaging scheduling, with occasional travel between clinics and occasional evening/weekend hours to meet patient needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an accredited medical assisting program.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• 2–3 years of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and clinical workflows.
• Commitment to high-quality patient care and compliance with safety and regulations.
• Willingness to travel between clinics and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and patients for procedures with HIPAA compliance.
• Oversee, train, and mentor medical assistants to ensure high-quality patient care and strong customer service.
• Provide leadership by coaching team members and supporting development.
• Perform and oversee CLIA waived testing and proper documentation in the EHR.
• Conduct daily site walkthroughs, monitor logs, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• Analyze workflow and quality reports to improve clinic efficiency and outcomes.
• Conduct routine chart audits to ensure accurate documentation and adherence to protocols.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and ordering processes across clinics.
