Job summary

Amentum is seeking a Site Lead Mechanic in Beaufort, SC, to lead the operation and maintenance of aircraft, subsystems, and support equipment. The role covers field oversight of maintenance teams, scheduling, inspections, and the coordination of spares through contractor-owned assets and approved repair stations.

The ideal candidate will hold an FAA A&P license, have 5+ years of aircraft maintenance experience including King Air/1900 series, and at least 1 year as a site lead.

Qualifications

• FAA A&P license is required.
• 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience.
• 3+ years maintaining King Air/1900 series aircraft.
• Minimum 1 year as a site lead on similar efforts.
• Ability to obtain DoD Secret clearance; US citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Lead operations for aircraft maintenance, subsystems, and support equipment.
• Direct a workforce in maintenance, repair, and modification activities.
• Serve as on-site liaison with the Government and ensure compliance.
