Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Site Laborer to perform manual labor on construction sites, assist heavy equipment operators and foremen, and help maintain safety and quality on every task.

You will support pipe work, drains, earthwork, and general site tasks, operate company vehicles and tools as trained, and contribute to a clean, organized job site.

Qualifications

• 6+ months of laborer experience in construction.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Experience with hand and power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operators and Foreman in spotting and digging for various pipe work.
• Follow processes and procedures to lay pipe and install exterior/interior drains.
• Perform daily site tasks including backfilling, tamping, curb/inlet repairs.
• Operate company vehicles and hand/power tools as trained; maintain site storage and cleanliness.
• Assist with snow removal on construction sites and other properties as directed.

About the position...

The Site Laborer is responsible for performing manual labor while assisting Heavy Equipment Operators & Foreman with all assigned projects such as bulk earth work, excavation, and utility work. This role will help maintain a clean and organized job site, while prioritizing safety and quality in their everyday tasks.

• Assist Operators and Foreman in spotting and digging for various pipe work.
• Responsible for following processes and procedures from supervisors in effectively learning to lay pipe.
• Ensure proper installation of exterior and interior drains and similar systems.
• Assist with daily site tasks, including but not limited to backfilling and tamping, curb and inlet repairs, and additional skills as trained.
• Operate company vehicles, material handlers, dump trucks, rental equipment, towing trailers and compressors.
• Operate tampers, jack hammers, demolition saws, pumps, and pressure washers as needed.
• Responsible for inventory control, including but limited to hand tools and power tools on site.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining site storage trailers, equipment, and all other company assets.
• Responsible for cleaning up each job as it is completed.
• Assists with snow removal on construction sites and other properties as directed.

Requirements

What we are looking for from you...

• Must have a valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation
• 6+ months of laborer experience in the construction industry is highly preferred
• Experience in site, excavation, or utility related work is welcome
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools is highly preferred but not required
• Actively participates in creating a safety-oriented work environment
• Must be able to complete site work, including, but not limited to digging, lifting, climbing ladders, and entering trench excavations
• Must be able to work on job sites in varying weather conditions
