Job summary

Triple Crown Corporation in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Site Laborer to perform manual labor and support Heavy Equipment Operators and Foreman on projects like bulk earth work, excavation, and utilities.

You will help maintain a safe, clean job site, learn pipe-laying processes, and operate basic tools and equipment as trained. This is a full-time, on-site role with opportunities for growth within our longstanding local company.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• 6+ months of laborer experience in construction preferred.
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operators and Foreman with spotting and digging for pipe work.
• Follow processes and procedures to lay pipe.
• Ensure proper installation of drains and similar systems.
• Assist with daily site tasks including backfilling, tamping, curb and inlet repairs.
• Operate company vehicles, material handlers, dump trucks, and equipment as trained.
• Clean up and organize site storage trailers and assets.
• Assist with snow removal on construction sites.

About The Position

The Site Laborer is responsible for performing manual labor while assisting Heavy Equipment Operators & Foreman with all assigned projects such as bulk earth work, excavation, and utility work. This role will help maintain a clean and organized job site, while prioritizing safety and quality in their everyday tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Operators and Foreman in spotting and digging for various pipe work.
• Responsible for following processes and procedures from supervisors in effectively learning to lay pipe.
• Ensure proper installation of exterior and interior drains and similar systems.
• Assist with daily site tasks, including but not limited to backfilling and tamping, curb and inlet repairs, and additional skills as trained.
• Operate company vehicles, material handlers, dump trucks, rental equipment, towing trailers and compressors.
• Operate tampers, jack hammers, demolition saws, pumps, and pressure washers as needed.
• Responsible for inventory control, including but limited to hand tools and power tools on site.
• Responsible for organizing and maintaining site storage trailers, equipment, and all other company assets.
• Responsible for cleaning up each job as it is completed.
• Assists with snow removal on construction sites and other properties as directed.

Requirements

• Must have a valid Driver’s License, automobile insurance, and reliable transportation.
• 6+ months of laborer experience in the construction industry is highly preferred.
• Experience in site, excavation, or utility related work is welcome.
• Experience operating hand tools and power tools is highly preferred but not required.
• Actively participates in creating a safety-oriented work environment.
• Must be able to complete site work, including, but not limited to digging, lifting, climbing ladders, and entering trench excavations.
• Must be able to work on job sites in varying weather conditions.
