Job summary

Hadrian in Cherokee, Alabama is seeking an IT Engineer to own day-to-day IT operations at the F4 facility. You will manage endpoints, support employees and production staff, maintain local infrastructure, and liaise with central IT teams.

As the on-site IT face, you will recruit and lead a small local team, enforce security tooling (EDR, MDM, IAM), and help achieve CMMC/ITAR compliance while coordinating with vendors and site facilities.

Qualifications

• Self-reliant, proactive, and accountable.
• Experience owning IT onboarding end-to-end.
• Strong networking fundamentals (LAN/WAN, VLANs, firewall, Wi-Fi).
• Experience in manufacturing or industrial environments preferred.
• CMMC/ITAR/CUI handling experience a plus.
• Able to work as a remote extension of a distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Site Operations: Own on-site IT support for facility employees and production staff.
• Construction: Support IT buildout and coordinate with facilities/vendors on-site.
• Onboarding/Offboarding: Manage hardware setup, provisioning, access grants, and Day 1 readiness.
• Security & Compliance: Enforce security tooling (EDR, MDM, IAM) and assist with compliance reviews.
• Vendor & Asset Management: Maintain asset inventory and manage vendor relationships.
