Job summary

Loparex, a leading global manufacturer, seeks an IT Site Administrator for our Hammond, Wisconsin facility. The role covers LAN, voice, server and end-user support, with emphasis on security, project work, and on-site IT leadership.

You will join the site leadership to ensure reliable IT operations, support manufacturing systems, and drive improvements in technology and security. This is a day-shift on-site position with collaborative responsibilities across IT and Operations.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in computer science or MIS with 3 years of PC/Windows experience.
• Experience with Windows 10 and Windows Server 2019; desktop and software support.
• Manufacturing environment experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Internet, and security protocols.

Responsibilities

• Maintain LAN, mobile computers, printers and all related hardware and software for the site.
• Troubleshoot and repair network and PC hardware/software for on-site and remote users.
• Use remote tools and diagnostics to aid in troubleshooting for remote users.
• Perform hands-on fixes at the desktop level when remote tools fail.
• Add, change, and delete user accounts and telephone access per SOPs.
• Assist in obtaining new hardware and software as required by the site per SOPs.
• Provide training to users on common software tools used by Loparex.
• Maintain a virus/malware free site and support IT security posture.
