Job summary

Fluor Corporation seeks a Site Human Resources Supervisor to provide on-site HR support for a major construction project in Piketon, Ohio.

You will partner with site leadership on employee relations, workforce planning, onboarding, performance management, investigations, and compliance, while supervising site HR staff and coordinating with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, and Payroll.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum ten (10) years of Human Resources experience, including on-site, field, project, construction, or related operations.
  • Experience supporting employee relations, investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
  • Working knowledge of employment laws and HR practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, and other functions as needed.
  • Prepare reports and analyze HR data and trends.
  • Supervise and guide site HR personnel as applicable.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

The Site Human Resources Supervisor provides on-site Human Resources support for a construction project and serves as a key partner to project leadership and employees. This position is responsible for supporting employee relations, workforce planning, staffing initiatives, onboarding, performance management, policy interpretation, compliance, employee engagement, and other Human Resources activities in support of project objectives.

Location Requirement: This position will be located in Piketon, Ohio. This is not a remote or hybrid role, this role is expected to work onsite at the project location on a daily basis. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, and the ability to build effective working relationships while supporting a positive employee experience and ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations.

Basic Job Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience supporting large construction, industrial, manufacturing, energy, or EPC projects
  • Experience in a site-based Human Resources role
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification
  • Experience supporting craft and non-manual workforces
  • Experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and reporting tools
  • Knowledge of workforce planning, talent management, and employee engagement programs
