Job summary

CK Contractors and Development LLC is seeking a Grading Equipment Operator to join our team. The role involves operating and maintaining heavy equipment including bulldozers, excavators, rollers, backhoes, and off-road trucks for site grading.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of site grading experience, ability to read site plans, and a strong safety mindset. Travel to various sites around the Charlotte metro area and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of site grading experience.
• Demonstrated ability to operate grading equipment.
• Excellent safety awareness and compliance with policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment such as bulldozers, skid steers, excavators, rollers and backhoes.
• May perform fine or rough grading according to site plan.
• Read plans on site and check grade against the plan.
• Coordinate machine actions with crew signals and other activities.
• Maintain safety and report hazards as needed.
• Perform pre- and post-checks of equipment and daily maintenance.
