Job summary

Sequoia Services is seeking a full-time equipment operator to run excavators, bulldozers, loaders and rollers on gravel and construction sites in Mooresboro, NC. You will grade, load and move material, follow grade stakes or GPS cues, and work with a crew to meet project timelines.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of construction experience, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to obtain required certifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of construction experience.
• Ability to obtain required certifications.
• Fit for duty and safety-mindedness.

Responsibilities

• Operate CAT bulldozers (D5-D8) and CAT excavators (320-349) safely.
• Use GPS systems (Trimble, TopCon) when available.
• Load on-road and off-road trucks using excavators.
• Grade site by controlling blade height and angle; loosen soil for grading.
• Interpret grade stakes and follow GPS or signals from crew.
• Maintain safe work environment and comply with regulations.
