Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores Inc. in Sauget, IL is seeking a hands-on Site General Manager to oversee daily operations of fuel, retail, c-store, restaurant and on-site services, driving profitability and customer satisfaction.

The role requires leadership of staff, adherence to safety and regulatory standards, and strategic initiatives to grow revenue through promotions and excellent service. You will manage budgets, supervise 5–10+ employees, and ensure a clean, safe, and compliant

Qualifications

• 3+ years in retail, travel stop or c-store, big box, grocery, or department store management.
• 3+ years managing operations with an annual sales volume of $2+ million.
• 3+ years affecting and deciphering budgets and P&L statements.
• 3+ years supervising and training 5-10+ employees.
• Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Additional screening may include a motor vehicle check and/or DOT Physical.

At Love’s, The Site General Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations, profitability, and overall success of a truck stop facility. This role involves managing staff, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining inventory, optimizing fuel and retail sales, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards. The General Manager must be a hands-on leader, capable of multitasking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.
