Job summary

Insight Global's client is seeking an experienced Foreman to oversee daily field operations on heavy civil and commercial construction projects. This individual will lead crews, coordinate work activities, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with plans and specifications.

Day-to-day responsibilities include supervising field crews, coordinating manpower, equipment, and materials, reading blueprints and specs, overseeing concrete work, rebar, formwork, grading

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction experience in heavy civil, concrete, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading foremen or lead foreman and crews.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Experience coordinating labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field crews on active construction projects.
• Coordinate manpower, equipment, materials, and daily work activities.
• Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
• Oversee site operations including concrete work, rebar, formwork, grading, and utility construction as applicable.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and enforce OSHA and company safety standards.
• Monitor production schedules and ensure projects remain on track.
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
• Complete daily reports and maintain accurate site documentation.
• Ensure quality standards are met and address field issues as they arise.
• Foster a productive, safety-focused work environment.

Job description

• 5+ years of construction experience within heavy civil, concrete, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
• Previous experience leading crews in a Foreman or Lead Foreman capacity.
• Previous experience with concrete placement, rebar installation, utility work, earthwork, or roadway construction.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and project specifications.
• Experience coordinating labor, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
