Job summary

• Associates Degree in business or equivalent 2 years of experience required.

• Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles preferred.
• Basic accounting knowledge; P&L and balance sheet.

Responsibilities

• Audit vendor payables for accuracy and ensure appropriate approvals prior to payment.
• Execute daily customer/vendor contract requirements and identify accessorial activity and ensure documentation.
• Collaborate with Operations and HR on a daily basis to provide support as needed.
• Provide Kronos application support and set-up to ensure accurate hourly activity reporting.
• Interact with Managers and Supervisors to provide analytical support as needed.
• Engage with Accounting and Commercial Finance departments directly.
• Provide ad-hoc analytical support to operations personnel as needed.
• Prepare month-end close accrual and reclass journal entries.
• Assist with accounts receivable processing, collection, revenue reporting, and accounts payable processing.
• Reconcile Purchase Orders as support to expense recognition.
• Prepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysis.
• Capture performance measurements aligned with customer, vendor, and site requirements.
• Own balance sheet reconciliations (black-line).

The Operational Business Analyst (Site Finance) role has a national salary range of $55,000 - $90,000.

For roles within California the range is $70,304 - $90,000, Washington is $80,169 - $90,000, New York is 62,354 - $90,000 and Colorado 57,500 - $90,000.

• Reconcile Purchase Orders as support to expense recognition
• Prepare daily and weekly labor analysis reports for operations productivity analysis
• Participate in the collection of performance measurements consistent with customer, vendor, and site requirements
• Ownership of balance sheets (black-line) account reconciliations

Requirements

• Associates Degree in business or equivalent 2 years equivalent work experience, required
• Bachelor's Degree in business, preferred
• Some knowledge of Finance or accounting, preferred
• Logistics industry experience, preferred
• Working knowledge of Accounting and Finance principles, preferred
• Basic accounting knowledge; P&L and balance sheet
