Job summary

INEOS Acetyls is seeking a Site Controller to lead the finance function at our Texas City chemical manufacturing facility. You will partner with site leadership to influence operational, commercial, and capital decisions while owning financial performance, governance, and cash flow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• At least five years of relevant finance experience with significant leadership responsibility.
• Strong manufacturing finance and cost accounting experience.
• Deep understanding of IFRS, GAAP, financial controls, and governance.
• Proven experience leading budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and performance management.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and digital capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Strong business and commercial acumen.
• Confident communicator who can influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the site finance function and serve as trusted advisor to Site Manager.
• Own integrity of site financial reporting: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow.
• Lead annual budget, monthly forecast, and site performance reviews.
• Translate operational performance into clear financial insights.
• Challenge assumptions, identify risks/opportunities, influence decisions.
• Oversee month-end close, production accounting, inventory valuation, cost accounting, intercompany.
• Ensure IFRS, GAAP, internal controls, and policy compliance.
• Own cash flow forecasting and improve working capital.
• Provide financial leadership for contracts, capex, and commercial arrangements.
• Maintain SAP processes, master data, and Oracle HFM submissions.
• Lead internal/external audit readiness and resolve findings.
• Develop and coach the site finance team; foster accountability.
