Job summary

INEOS Acetyls in Texas City seeks a Site Accountant to provide financial stewardship for the site, including budgeting, forecasting, SAP month-end close, and financial analysis. You will partner with Operations, Commercial, and Site Leadership to deliver insights that drive site performance and intercompany reconciliations.

The role requires 10+ years of accounting experience, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and experience with SAP and cost accounting in manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Experience with IFRS and GAAP in daily posting and reporting activities.
• Sound technical accounting knowledge for production accounting and COGS valuations.
• Strong data quality mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of SAP and manufacturing cost accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review site costs for actuals, budget, and forecast.
• Lead monthly balance sheet assurance and reconciliations.
• Manage production accounting and stock valuation processes.
• Oversee COGS valuations, including FIFO, BOM accuracy, and material cost integrity.
• Co-lead annual site budget process and support cash flow forecasting.
• Coordinate intercompany balances and site partner invoicing.
