Job summary

Crane Authentication seeks an Assistant Controller for the Lancaster manufacturing site. You will own month-end close, cost accounting, and internal controls in a SOX environment, partnering with plant leadership to enhance performance and inventory management.

Responsibilities include analyzing manufacturing variances, validating reconciliations, and supporting the annual plan and forecasts. Strong ERP experience and cross-functional collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• CPA/CMA/MBA or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Minimum 7+ years in accounting or controllership, preferably manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close for Lancaster site with journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
• Ensure proper costing, inventory, labor, overhead, and manufacturing cost recording.
• Maintain balance sheet integrity and support SOX controls and audits.
• Provide manufacturing performance analysis including variances and KPIs.
• Collaborate with Operations and leadership to drive improvements and forecasting.
