Job summary

Inotiv in RTP, North Carolina, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician II to support maintenance, repair, inspection, and operational needs across our site. You will handle building systems, coordinate third-party contractors, and ensure regulatory compliance while safeguarding assets and operations.

The role requires independent work, prioritization of multiple tasks, and strong troubleshooting skills across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience performing general facility, building, or equipment maintenance.
• Experience supporting HVAC, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and general building systems.
• Equivalent combinations of education, apprenticeship training, and relevant maintenance experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform general facilities maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and minor installations across RTP locations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure equipment and systems are inspected and maintained per schedules and service agreements.
• Coordinate and oversee external contractors and service providers for repairs and facility projects.
