Job summary

Russell Taylor Group is seeking Site Engineers (permanent) in Chester for civil engineering projects including drainage, groundworks, piling and highways. You will set out using Leica GNSS/Total Station equipment, perform material take-offs, and ensure drawings and levels are accurate while upholding strict health and safety standards.

Ideal candidates will have proven experience with GNSS machine control, site control setup, and coordinate systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in detailed material take-offs for civil works.
• Proficient in setting out and surveying with Leica GNSS/Total Station equipment.
• Able to read project specifications and ensure accurate take-offs and scale levels.

Responsibilities

• Setting out and surveying on civil engineering projects including drainage, groundworks, piling and highways.
• Carry out take-offs and ensure accuracy of drawings and levels on site.
• Manage health and safety compliance to required standards on site.
• Coordinate with project teams to support delivery on time.

My client is a leading specialist's civil engineering subcontractor. They are very well placed within the market place with a strong and reputable reputation.

Civils Site Engineers & Senior Site Engineers

The site Engineers will be working on civil engineering projects, drainage, groundworks, Excavator works, pilling and highways. You will have previously worked for a civil engineering contractor working setting out dimensional drawings accurately.

My client is a busy well-established contractor that look for permanent candidates, that they can invest, support and develop their employees.

Required Skills

• Will have the ability to carry out detailed material take offs for civil engineering works, Proficiency in setting out and surveying using LECIA GNNS Rovers, base stations and total stations.
• Experience working with GNSS/TPS Lecia Machine Control including the setting up of site control, coordinate systems.
• Reading all project speciation's producing take of materials required. As site engineer you will be fully proficient in drawings, checking the levels are all accurate to scale for new works. Ensuring all health and safety is adhered to strictest level on site.
