Job summary

Bimplus seeks a Site Engineer for a 6‑month contract to manage the groundworks and steel frame package on site. You will be responsible for setting out works, coordinating with the Project Manager and foreman, and ensuring health and safety compliance on site.

You will raise technical queries on design issues and oversee site setup, with prior experience in groundworks and drainage advantageous. SMSTS/SSSTS is desirable but not essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or time served pathway accepted.
• Experience setting out ground works and steel frame elements.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements on site.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering activities and site set up for groundworks and steel frame.
• Set out works and resolve design issues via technical queries.
• Report to Project Manager and foreman, ensuring site safety compliance.

My client is a leading contractor in the Steel frame and Groundworks sector. We are currently recruiting a Site Engineer to complete an 6 month contract. You will be required to manage the engineering, including the setting out of the ground works/steel frame package.

• Reporting and working with the Project Manager and foreman.
• Site set up and compliance with health and safety
• Completing all setting out associated to the ground works and steel Frame aspects.
• Raising technical queries on design issues.
• SMSTS or SSSTS – Desirable, not essential.
• Previous experience setting out ground works and drainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or Time Served.
