Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer/Maintenance Professional in Sparks, NV to develop and implement safety programs, manage preventative maintenance, and maintain PLC/HMI systems. You will collaborate with IT to ensure server reliability and support production efficiency.

The role requires at least 4 years in an automated manufacturing setting, a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, and strong cross-department communication to drive reliability and safety improvements.

Qualifications

Must have safety program experience and ability to improve safety culture.
Minimum 4 years of plant engineering or maintenance experience in an automated manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

Actively develop and implement safety programs and procedures in the plant.
Administer preventative maintenance for reliable plant operation.
Ensure HMI/PLC programs are current and backed up regularly.
Assist IT in maintaining plant office servers and networks.
Support production goals by reducing waste and delays.
Train staff to maintain maintenance skills.
Integrate new equipment and processes into the network and program PLC/HMI screens.
Communicate equipment changes across departments and resolve malfunctions.
Support policy development and act as a role model for compliance.
