Job summary

Liberty is seeking a Safety Manager to coordinate and administer safety programs that support business objectives. You will partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to address key risk areas and provide day-to-day guidance to local management to build a strong culture of safety on the jobsite.

Requirements include 5–10 years in self-perform commercial construction, a Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety or Construction Management, OSHA 30/40, and MS Office proficiency; weekend

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Health & Safety, Construction Management or equivalent.
• 5–10 years self-perform commercial construction experience.
• OSHA 30/40 hour certification and a valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety documentation systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and administer safety programs to support business objectives.
• Partner with Project Managers and Superintendents to address key risk areas.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to local management to build a safety culture.
• Lead safety training, toolbox talks, and site-specific safety plan reviews.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, NFPA and local regulations.
• Maintain project safety binders, documentation, and records.
