Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Windsor Locks, CT, is seeking a dynamic EH&S professional to lead Environmental, Health, and Safety programs at the Windsor Locks site. You will collaborate with senior and line management to develop and execute EH&S programs driving performance improvements and compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong communication and analytical abilities to drive excellence in EH&S and support business operations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires University Degree and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information
• 5+ years prior experience in EH&S
• Ability to communicate and present to all levels of the organization

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership and builds partnership at site across all levels of the organization to foster EH&S culture improvement.
• Provide technical guidance to leadership to ensure effective EH&S Management System requirements.
• Partners with site leadership to ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with all regulations.
• Respond to emergencies, establish incident investigation processes to prevent recurrences.
• Ensure timely risk assessments and controls for EH&S processes and oversee training.
• Provide information and guidance to EH&S leaders, including performance trends and corrective actions.
