Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking an experienced EHS Specialist to support plant safety, health and environmental compliance. You will lead regulatory programs, conduct risk assessments, and drive incident investigations with the operations team.

The role requires deep knowledge of OSHA, EPA and state requirements, strong leadership, and the ability to train personnel while maintaining strict confidentiality across projects and data.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience with 5+ years in safety/environmental roles.
• Experience as EHS SME in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
• Deep knowledge of federal and state safety and environmental laws (OSHA, EPA, SCDES).

Responsibilities

• Promote safe practices in line with company commitments and compliance requirements.
• Lead incident investigations and perform root cause analyses with operations.
• Develop and deliver safety, health and environmental training for plant personnel.
• Coordinate compliance with OSHA, EPA, and state regulations and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement in environmental monitoring and recordkeeping.
