School Locations: Bennett Elementary and Innovation Elementary

Pay range: $22.00-$23.50 depending on child care experience and college degree

$500 HIRING BONUS

Eligible new hires receive a $500 hiring bonus! Half when hired and half after successfully completing 6 months of employment and meeting applicable eligibility requirements.

About the Role

AlphaBEST Education is seeking a Site Director to lead a before- and after-school program for elementary students. This leadership role is ideal for educators or youth program professionals who enjoy working with children and leading a small team in a structured school-based environment.

The Site Director oversees daily program operations, ensures student safety, supports staff, and builds strong relationships with families and school partners.

Minimum requirements

• At least 21 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Able to complete required background and central-registry checks
• Available Monday through Friday
• Meets one applicable Virginia program-director pathway

Virginia qualification pathways

• Graduate degree in a child-related field plus six months of programmatic experience
• Bachelor's degree or endorsement in a child-related field plus one year of programmatic experience
• 48 semester hours, including 12 child-related hours, plus one year of programmatic experience
• Certain certificate, credential, or Montessori pathways plus two years of programmatic experience, including one year in a staff-supervisory capacity

Child-related fields may include early childhood education, elementary education, special education, psychology, sociology, and other humanities disciplines.
