Job summary

AlphaBEST Education, Inc is seeking a Site Director to lead a before and after-school program for elementary students at Sully Elementary in Loudoun County. This part-time leadership role suits educators or youth program professionals who enjoy leading a small team within a structured school-based environment.

The Site Director oversees daily program operations, ensures student safety, supports staff, and builds strong relationships with families and school partners.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of experience working with school-age children with skills in managing, planning, or staffing.
• Candidates must meet one of the following education requirements: CDA, OR 12 college credits in child care or a related field within a minimum of 48 total college credits, OR an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in child care or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the daily operations of the before and after-school program.
• Maintain safe staff-to-student ratios and licensing compliance.
• Supervise and support program staff.
• Implement engaging enrichment and learning activities.
• Maintain attendance, documentation, and program records.
• Ensure a safe, inclusive, and structured environment for students.
• Communicate with families, school administration, and AlphaBEST leadership.
• Prepare the site for licensing visits and inspections.
• Monitor supplies, snacks, and program materials.

*Eligible new hires receive a $500 hiring bonus! Half when hired and half after successfully completing 6 months of employment and meeting applicable eligibility requirements.*

Pay: Starting $22-$25

Schedule: Monday-Friday

Afternoon: 2:15 PM - 6:30 PM

Ability to work with children in an active environment

Regular bending, standing, and lifting up to 25 pounds
