Job summary

High Standard Construction Inc. is seeking a Site Development Supervisor to oversee all site development activities, supervise field crews and subcontractors, and ensure work complies with project specs, budgets, and timelines.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, planning, and problem-solving, with a focus on safety and quality. You will coordinate inspections, maintain documentation, and mentor junior staff to deliver projects efficiently.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of site development or heavy civil construction experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and construction best practices.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CM software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily site development and construction activities.
  • Coordinate work schedules for field crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators.
  • Monitor progress and ensure work meets plans, specs, and timelines.
  • Conduct site inspections for quality workmanship and safety compliance.
  • Enforce OSHA policies and lead regular safety meetings.
  • Review drawings and work orders with field personnel.
  • Identify and resolve field issues and delays.
  • Monitor labor, equipment, and material usage to maintain budgets.
  • Coordinate inspections with authorities and regulators.
  • Maintain daily reports and project documentation.
  • Communicate status, issues, and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure proper maintenance and safe operation of equipment.
  • Assist in planning schedules and resource allocation.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate field personnel.
