Kwik Trip Inc. is seeking a development planner to support store expansion in Wisconsin. The role works with Store Engineering and Real Estate to gather information for new stores, guiding design, bidding and construction through permitting.
Responsibilities include coordinating permitting, design and approval activities, representing Kwik Trip at internal and external projects, and ensuring timely delivery by managing multiple tasks.
Kwik Trip Inc. This individual will work closely with Kwik Trip’s Store Engineering and Real Estate Departments in the developing, planning, and permitting for new retail locations, under the guidance of a senior development manager. The person’s primary responsibility will be obtaining the necessary information for each new store so Kwik Trip can complete the design, bidding and construction process.
Other responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, Associate Architect; basic knowledge of site design, storm water, and construction. Ability to research zoning and municipal planning processes to ensure necessary permits are obtained. Ability to read and interpret site plans and surveys; ability to cross coordinate multiple design professionals.
Other qualifications include:
Work Schedule: 45 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday with some evening meetings and overnights. Flexibility in schedule; including 1/2 days on Fridays.
Candidate must be willing to relocate or be in office 3 days a week.
