Job summary

Galaxy is seeking a Site Development Associate to support data center development in and around Lubbock, Texas. The role advances sites through entitlement, negotiates with landowners, and coordinates with utilities to support a robust development pipeline.

This field-facing position requires hands-on experience from land acquisition to entitlement, along with strong communication with municipal officials and internal teams. Regular travel in Texas is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience in real estate development with a completed project through entitlement.
• Direct experience entitling property and working with officials.
• Strong communication skills for presentations to public bodies.
• Understanding of Texas oil, gas, and mineral rights affecting real estate.

Responsibilities

• Lead site entitlement efforts including zoning and land use approvals.
• Serve as primary contact with municipalities and officials on projects.
• Build relationships with mayors and county staff and present to boards.
• Identify permits required for site development and coordinate with authorities.
• Coordinate with utility providers to confirm capacity and extension needs.
