Job summary

DEPCOM Power, a Koch Engineered Solutions company, is seeking a Site Development Engineer. The role is ideally based in Pleasanton, CA, to support project development for utility-scale solar and energy storage.

You will develop site plans, BOMs, perform surveys and environmental assessments, and coordinate with engineering and construction teams to keep projects on schedule. Ideal candidates have AutoCAD/Civil 3D experience, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or science, and PE licensure or FE

Qualifications

Bachelor or higher in Engineering or Science.
PE license or FE candidate.
Experience in civil design and engineering.

Responsibilities

Develop Preliminary Site Plans and BOMs for project development and bidding.
Review documents; provide technical support including ALTA surveys, topographic assessments, permits, hydrology studies, environmental site assessments.
Produce high-quality Site Plans and BOMs for engineering and construction teams.
Perform fundamental civil design work: surface and watershed analyses, preliminary grading.
Collaborate with other departments to support execution and construction schedules.
Attend internal and external meetings as needed.
Seek opportunities for process improvement and design optimization.
