The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design.
• Have hands-on involvement in the permitting process.
• Interact significantly with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion.
• Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
• Interface directly with the client or sub-consultants under the direction of the Engineering Manager.
• Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations to clients.
• Communicate effectively with other engineering disciplines and project team members.

Preferred Qualifications

• Licensed EIT and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from a recognized accredited program.
• Minimum of 5 years related work experience.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Typical office/home office environment with a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
• Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods. May require travel to local and regional client sites.
