The Opportunity

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Focus on the delivery of civil site development projects and will assist in the design, construction, and project management of a wide variety of projects involving grading design, stormwater design, erosion control design, culvert design, and pavement design.
  • Have hands-on involvement in the permitting process.
  • Have significant interaction with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external clients.

In roles like Engineers, Technicians, and Skilled Specialists you will be engaged with exciting projects across the globe. From small community improvements to grand-scale Mega Projects, you will be Building a World of Difference through infrastructure growth and development while learning and focusing on your own individual development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform design of projects from the conceptual and bid phase through design completion for project needs and requirements set by the project managers based on client needs.
  • Assist the Engineering Manager in maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Under the direction of the Engineering Manager, interface directly with the client or sub-consultants.
  • Support business development through writing technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentations to clients.
  • Responsible for effective communication with other engineering disciplines and project team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Licensed EIT and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience.
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Certifications

  • Licensed EIT and/or Licensed Professional Engineer or be in active pursuit of registration.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

  • Typical office/home office environment with a hybrid work schedule: 3 days in office and 2 days remote.
  • Sitting, talking, grasping, hearing, keyboard input, driving, seeing, writing, reaching, stooping, crouching, walking, standing for extended periods of time. May require travel to local and regional client sites.
