Tighe & Bond is seeking a Civil Engineering Intern to join the Site Civil Design Team in Westfield, MA. You will assist with data collection, CAD drafting, and basic design tasks while learning from experienced engineers in a collaborative, hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an Associate’s or Bachelor’s program pursuing Civil or Environmental Engineering.
• Hands-on interest in engineering data collection and design processes.
• Willingness to learn and contribute on multidisciplinary projects.

Responsibilities

• Research, compile, and examine a wide variety of project-related data.
• Assist staff with various projects and/or field assignments.
• Perform computer-aided drafting tasks and create basic plans in AutoCAD.
• Perform engineering calculations under the direction of an engineer.
• Prepare written communications including emails, memoranda, field reports, and specifications.
